I listen to the gentle murmuring voice
Of our city, awake despite the hour
And I linger, unwilling to return
To the television world inside — droolingmonkey

New Zealand..land of the long white cloud

I arrived back in NZ on saturday.A year away in the states.
Ive spent the last few days trying to find my things, cleaning, sleeping
visiting friends and feeling totally exhausted.
But Im home for now.Its wonderful to see my family again.I love them so much.
No-one looks any different cept Ez whos grown taller.
My gardens a mess but its winter and raining so it will just have to wait.
Theres spring daffodils and freesias up and some irises out.
I need to get the vegie garden back into shape.
But it will all have to wait..Im tired.

Welcome home!/back! I'm glad you had a good trip... as for your garden, don't you just love those perennials that come up as fast as they can to give you a smile? :)
