I listen to the gentle murmuring voice
Of our city, awake despite the hour
And I linger, unwilling to return
To the television world inside — droolingmonkey

No Harley

No Harley:<
My harley has been in the shop for weeks now and Im getting really pissed off!! Its being lowered and having her carb fixed..But Im getting very grumpy not riding!I bought this bike when I came here and I need to ride.It takes the stress off me and it makes my heart sing.I love the feel of the throbbing bike,I love to see the world from the road.I love to smell the restuarants as I ride past.I know every pothole in the rode.I know when to watch out for skunks on the road.I look out for old tyres that have been discarded by trucks. The feeling of being in the wind .…listening to the sounds of the harley.…the absoulute thrill of the ride..Its something I cannot describe.I want to RIDE

Same Sex Marriage

Same sex marriage
Im very proud of my best friend Robbie who is a marriage celebrant. She also conducts funerals and is a deaf interpreter.Next month in New Zealand,it will become legal to have a civil union, between 2 ppl of the same sex. This means that they will have legal rights and will be able to have the same legal protection as any of us.If one partner should become ill or unable to say what they want, the other can speak for them. The children of the union will be able to inherit. They will have the same tax rights as married ppl..Robbie will conduct the first ceremony at 5 minutes past midnight on the day it becomes a new law.The couple are 2 women that have been in love and living together for 15 years…they have 6 children between them…Im proud to be a New Zealander that comes from a forward thinking country.

Farewell to a friend

My dog just died
First I got a phone call from my mother...did you hear about Gracie? She just died..I gave the ph to James.I could not talk. Then I rang Jake.He found her and I had to know all the details.Gracie died in the office. She vomitted and died. She was still warm.Shes a beautiful dog.Im broken hearted. But shes gone now and Im away from her.God bless my dog..R.I.P Gracie.
Its hard to explain how I feel about gracie. And Im sure its hard for anyone else to understand,,,tho most of the ppl that I know who have dogs all know how I feel.I got her when our house had been burgled. The thieves took everything of mine...all my clothes, all the dragons Jake had bought me,all my makeup...everything that was ME.The tvs could be replaced, and all the clothes too...everything but my heart that was broken that day....but I moved on.I got a dog to protect me and love me.She did all that and more...she was my constant companion. She was a good beautiful dog, pretty and loving....she didnt do too many naughty things. She loved to go walking and she loved dog training classes too.She loved other dogs and she loved people...shes always been a top DOG...I love you Grace.Thankyou for always caring about me.Thanks for protecting me.Thanks for all the licks. Thanks for everything Baby.I love you.

Harley gone.....

No Harley:<
I walked into the garage to have a smoke and got a shock to realise that the harleys not there. Its gone into the shop to get fixed because the plugs keep oiling up.Everytime we go out it starts to cough and choke and splutter and its so bloody annoying. So the guy who rebuilt her has taken her back to do his magic on her...he says he knows what the problem is so I hope so...Its horrible having the empty space in the garage..kind of like someone who no longer sits at the dinner table....
